Wear a Sweater on a Hot Summer Day to Succeed!

Sweater Cat!

Even this little guy gets uncomfortable!

So yesterday we discussed the comfort zone, and why it's bad. Now we're going to talk about how to get out of this wretched zone.

First, you gotta realize that you're in the "comfort zone." Hopefully you made that realization yesterday. But if you didn't, realize it now:

You're in the comfort zone.

Realized yet? No?

You're in the comfort zone.

Still not yet?

You're in the--

Okay, you get the picture. And for those of you saying, "But I'm not in the comfort zone!"

If you're not where you want to be in life, and you aren't doing anything to get there, you are in the comfort zone, plain and simple. I know for a fact that like, 95% of people I know want better lives. Only around 10% of them really do anything to make their lives better though. (And the other 5% of people I know who don't want better lives are either delusional or filthy rich)

So get out of the comfort zone!

How? Easy! Get uncomfortable! Wear a sweater on a hot summer day! Not literally... I forfeit any responsibility of any heatstroke caused by people taking my advice literally. Please don't do it. This is Blog2Success, not Blog2Death. Or Blog2Heatstroke.

But why wear a sweater on a hot summer day? Because it gets you uncomfortable, and what do you do when you're uncomfortable? You take that sweater off!

However, what do you really need to do, literally? Get uncomfortable. Put that metaphorical sweater on... and then take it off! Or if you're really hungry, rip it off like the Hulk would! Just don't make any roaring noises or people will think you're weird.

In a sense, stepping out of your comfort zone is tons easier than putting that sweater on. It just takes a little mindset shift.

For example, what do you want to do with your life? Do you want some extra money? Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to donate to charity? Help your family out?

Then make it so. Put the metaphorical sweater on. If you want to make some extra cash for the holidays, make that your sweater. Taking off the sweater would entail you making that extra cash. Make it such that you feel like you would be miserable if you don't achieve that goal.

Get uncomfortable. Get miserable. Pain is a response telling you change needs to happen. You can either take your sweater off the same way you put it on (via a mindset shift) or you can make things happen to take your sweater off. It's your choice. If you want to do it the easy way, you get the results of the easy way (namely, nothing).

Burning Desire

No, not the album.

Now I'm not saying that you should make yourself miserable or put yourself in pain or anything like that. I'm saying you need to make your will, your will. You need to make it more than just a will. You need a burning desire. We all know that saying, "when there's a will, there's a way!" No. A lot of people have wills, but do nothing about it because it's merely a will. When there's a burning desire, there's a way. Even if there is no way, you burn through the impossible and make your way.

I only like working with people who have a burning desire to achieve success. If you have that burning desire, that sweater... then we'll go places for sure.

To your abundance!
